To create a new short link, log in to your LinkDevi dashboard and click the blue "+ Create Link" button located in the top-right corner. This opens the link creation dialog with all the options you need.
In the "Destination URL" field, paste the full URL you want to shorten. This can be any valid web address, including pages with query parameters and fragments. LinkDevi validates the URL format automatically as you type, and the field border turns green once a valid URL is detected.
The "Short Link" field below shows the domain (linkdevi.com by default, or your custom domain if configured) followed by an auto-generated slug. You can click the slug to edit it and type any custom value you prefer. The system checks availability in real time and shows a checkmark if the slug is available.
Click "Create Link" to finalize. Your new link appears at the top of the links list, ready to share. You can immediately copy it by clicking the copy icon. The link starts tracking clicks as soon as it is created.
