Creating a short link with LinkDevi takes just a few seconds. From the dashboard, locate the blue "+ Create Link" button in the top-right corner of the page. Clicking it opens the link creation dialog where you can paste your long URL into the "Destination URL" field.
Once you have entered your destination URL, LinkDevi automatically generates a short slug for you. You can accept the auto-generated slug or type your own custom one in the "Short Link" field. For example, you might change it from "linkdevi.com/a8x3k" to "linkdevi.com/my-promo".
After filling in the destination URL, click the "Create Link" button at the bottom of the dialog. Your new short link is created instantly and appears at the top of your links list. You can copy it to your clipboard by clicking the copy icon next to the short URL.
If you want to add optional settings like an expiration date, password protection, or UTM parameters, expand the "Advanced Options" section in the creation dialog before saving. These features are available depending on your current plan tier.
